Day 1 :                  Arrive Chennai, air
Arrive Chennai by flight. On arrival you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.

Chennai, a beautiful blend of the traditional Tamil Hindu culture and modern British culture, is a major tourist destination and the capital city of Tamil Nadu. This trade city has a rich historic value and offers a large variety of tourist attractions like temples, shrines, forts and palaces.

Day 2 : Chennai – Tirupati (140 kms/3 hrs)
Morning guided city tour of Chennai. Chennai highlights all the major places and tourist attractions in the city. Fort St. George, Marina Beach, Anna Memorial, Light House, Elliots Beach, Valluvar Kottam and Government Museum , Crocodile Breeding Farm, are few of the tourists attractions.

Afternoon guided city tour of Tirupati and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Tirupati, a revered destination of South India, time and again startle travellers and pilgrims with its powers. The city behold the power of Lord Venkateshwara and is one of the oldest and the richest temples of world located in the Chittior district of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Day 3 :                 Tirupati – Chennai (140 kms/3 hrs)
Morning darshan of TIRUPATI BALAJI.

Day 4 :                 Chennai – Mahabalipuram(approx 60 kms/1 hrs)
Morning drive for Mahabalipuram and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Afternoon city tour of Mahabalipuram.

The temples of Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu are standing testimonies of the ancient Indian architecture.  The UNESCO has recoganized and acknowledged these temples as world heritage sites.

 Day 5 :                 Mahabalipuram – Kanchipuram – Tanjore  (309 kms/7.5 hrs)
Morning  proceed for Tanjore enroute visiting Kanchipuram

Kanchipuram famous for its more then 1000-temple shrines. Note the architectural pulchritude of the seven pagodas that will leave you aghast.

On arrival in Tanjore, check-in at your hotel.

The districts of Thanjavur boast of hundreds of ancient temples. One of the most famous temple here is the Brihadisvara Temple. There are about 70 temples in this region. Thanjavur is situated halfway between Tiruchirappalli (60km) and the coast.

Day 6 :                 Tanjore - Trichy – Tanjore (60 kms one way/1 hrs)
Full day excursion to Trichy.

Tiruchirappalli, situated on the banks of the river Cauvery is the fourth largest city in Tamil Nadu.. Trichy is a fine blend of tradition and modernity built around the Rock Fort. Apart from the Fort, there are several Churches, Colleges and Missions dating back to the 1760s.

The most famous land mark of this bustling town is the Rockfort Temple, a spectacular monument perched on a massive rocky out crop which rises abruptly from the plain to tower over the old city.

Day 7: Tanjore – Madurai (183 kms/4 hrs)
Morning city tour of Tanjore visiting Brihadisvara Temple and other places of interests.

Afternoon drive for Madurai enroute visiting Karaikudi (Chetinad) and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Madurai is one of the oldest cities in India. It is situated on the banks of river vaigai. It is one of the important travel destinations in India. It has rich historical and cultural back ground nearly 2600 year old city.

Day 8 :                 Madurai
Morning guided city tour of Madurai. Visit the places of interest, including the famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple. The one thousand pillard mandapam is a sight of Perfection in architecture. Also visit the Palace closeby.

Afternoon is free to explore the city on your own. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 09:               Madurai – Rameshwaram-Madurai
Full day excursion to Rameshwaram a city of swell and gentle sand dunes, embellished with the delicacy of casurina trees and stark palms.

Rameshwaram -Rameshwaram is an island situated on the tip of the Indian peninsula. It is the place from where Lord Rama had built a bridge across the sea to rescue his consort Sita.
Rameshwaram is significant for the Hindus. The presiding deity is the Linga of Sri Ranganatha, which happens to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India. Rameshwaram is popularly referred as the 'Benaras of the south'.
Return to Madurai by evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 :               Madurai – Trivandrum (264 kms / 6 hrs)
Morning drive for Trivandrum and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Afternoon guided city tour of Trivandrum visiting the Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery, Zoological gardens, Reptile house, Observatory and Kanakakunnu Palace.

Day 11:                 Trivandrum – Cape Camorin – Trivandrum
Morning drive for same day excursion to Cape Camorin visiting  Padmanabhapuram Palace & Archeological museum

Overnight at Trivandrum.

Day 12:                Trivandrum – Home town.
Departure transfer to the airport in time to board the flight for home-town.
